RECRUITMENT OF TAX ASSISTANTS IN CENTRAL EXCISE & CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT

The Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax, Pune Zone invites applications for the recruitment of Meritorious Sportspersons in different Games / Sports as listed below for the post of TAX ASSISTANT (T.A.) in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5200-20200 (PB3) + Grade Pay of Rs.2400. The posts are purely on temporary basis but likely to be made permanent. The probation period is of two years.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

1. AGE LIMIT : For the post of Tax Assistant the Age limit will be between 20 and 27 years as on 5th May, 2014 (the closing date of receipt of application) (relaxable upto 5 years for General / OBC candidate and 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates). The age limits also relaxable upto 40 years in case of SC/ ST Departmental Candidate.)

2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : (I) Degree from the recognized University or equivalent and (II) Having Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions per Hour.

3. NUMBER OF VACANCIES : 19

4. SPORTS ELIGIBILITY : Appointments can be made of a sportsman considered meritorious with reference to the following criteria.
