Indian people are celebrating Diwali
Today, India's Big Festival Diwali (Deepawali) is being Celebrated by the people of India. Not in India, but in whole world, where Indian people are residing, are very enthusiastic on this great occasion. On this occasion, people wish each other and exchange Gifts. This is the famous event in India. On this day, Hindu religion people festival Diwali falls on Amavasya.
According to Indian culture and history, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and wife of Vishnu God visits her devotees and bestows gifts and esteemed blessings upon her followers. On this occasion, to welcome the Goddess, devotees of Goddess i.e. people clean their houses many days in advance, decorate houses with attractive lights, and bring sweets for offerings. Devotees strongly believe that the Goddess Lakshmi will be visiting their place to bless with health, happiness and wealth.
