Today is an important day for the
people of 11 states and three Union Territories in India where polling is going
on for 91 Lok Sabha Seats.
Casting a vote is an important right
given to the people in the society. A vote casted by a rich person has the same
value as of a vote casted by a poor person. It is the voting only which give us the right to
choose our next leader in the country. Many young persons when they turn 18,
cast their vote and they always have a craze to avail this golden opportunity.
If we give up our right by not exercising
our voting right, we give away our right of participation in electoral process
and choosing a good government in our country. Ultimately, It is seen that in many
a cases, people hesitate to cast their vote because they feel that their vote
has no value and it is just a wastage of time. But they do not know about the importance of their single
vote in formation of the Government.
If we do not vote and participate in the
electoral process, it can be said that the democracy would come to an end soon.
So, each and every vote has its own impact in formation of government. It is felt that it’s important for all of us to
exercise our right to vote. We should encourage each and every person to vote
in these elections.
